Who We Are
Though I run MM on my lonesome, it would not exist without the people who make life what it is. My friends, those involved with cars and those who aren't, as well as my partner make the journey one worth taking. Though a lot of people probably set out with a stupid little dream, or big dream to make a quick buck by doing what they love and I realise mine is nothing special, I hope that by introducing you and hopefully many others to MM, you find an aesthetic that really is you. Because this is all me.
You'll notice the gallery and site images show a pretty vast variety of vehicles, that's because our group is an odd mix but they're all part of the experiences that make up a Friday night for us.
Nostalgia is a feeling that both rewards and punishes; a bittersweet feeling that grows and grows until a memory ages and, maybe, fades enough that it loses its bitter taste and becomes sweet. Until then suddenly it’s not again. And we relive a memory again and again, unable to decide whether we want to recapture it or let it wither and pass quietly. We want what we felt then instead of what we feel now because somewhere in the in-between, the joy became regret.
I created MM in order to somehow, even if it never quite succeeds; every now and then create something which aims to capture nostalgia for someone personally. Sometimes, even if we want to forget, we have to remind ourselves that our past does make us what we are and the people or things we left behind gave us a new path. Designs inspired by the past mixed with the brand’s ever-present motto are timeless, because they’ve already passed.
Please, try not to forget.
